Remote Framing – COVID-19 Update
Taking into consideration the new government restrictions for businesses, we are only allowed to operate our bespoke picture framing service via click and collect. All our manufacturing facilities are unaffected by the restrictions, and therefore our framing service is running with slight differences.
How does our service work?
As we are unable to invite you onto our premises, we must run our click and collect service remotely. This is how it works?
First, contact us by phone or email to discuss your framing requirements. One of our framers will want to know as much about your request as possible, and may require some or all of the following information: –
- Name, address, telephone number and email address
- What is to be framed (e.g., original artwork, limited edition print, poster etc)?
- Dimensions (for ease, we work in old and new money)
- Ideas if any on how you it should be framed (frame colours, mount etc)
- Budget (if applicable)
If you can provide a digital image of your item (a photo taken on your phone for example) we can use this in our visualisation software to show how this may look when framed.
Alternatively, drop your item into the quick drop box located outside our premises (during working hours only) so we can photograph it on the premises.
Next, we will produce a few images with our visualisation software that will give you an idea of what your frame will look like. These are for you to view in the comfort of your own home. We will also send photographs of frame pieces to give you a better example of how it looks in real life and any
further recommendations such a specialist glass.
At this stage we hope that we have found what you are looking for but can always change the spec until we have found what works for you.
Finally, we will quote a price for the work and an approximate lead time. The lead time is that at time of quote and can vary depending on how busy we are. All prices quoted include VAT and are valid for 30 days.
What happens next?
If we have reached this point, then we are going to the production stage. However, before we can start any work, we will need to take a deposit over the phone. This is usually 50% of the cost and can be paid by bank transfer, paypal or credit/debit card.
If you have not already dropped your item in our drop box you will need to do this before we can start framing.
Once we have finished your frame a member of our team will contact you. We will send you a photograph of the finished frame and request the remaining balance before arranging for you to collect.
